We’re delighted to have the following artist practitioners representing digital media, visual arts, storytelling, movement and music to lead exciting, bite size workshops at the InspirED Online Conference:
An Art and Craft Approach to Filmmaking with Luana Di Pasquale
Exploring the first stage of the filmmaking process – the development stage. Learn how to brainstorm ideas based on environmental themes by creating a fabulous moodboard (collage art), followed by how to convert those ideas to construct a story with a beginning, a middle and an end.
Found Sound: Multi-modal approaches to storytelling through movement & music with Steve Grocott
This interactive workshop will focus on how we can tell stories and make music with found and recycled objects, using narrative elements to organise and enliven music making and movement. We will look at the types of everyday recycled objects that can be used to make a wide variety of sounds.
Action For Insects – Creating Pollinators From Found Objects and Recycled Materials, with Fiona Campbell
Inspired by the vital role of pollinators in our natural world, create a decorative 2d design using recycled and found sculptural materials. These may include copper wire, beads, buttons, bottle tops and natural objects. Materials will be supplied, however bring along your own contributions to make it personal.
Materials and resources will be sent to delegates in advance.
