Action for Cultural Education

This group brings together people working in the education, arts, heritage and cultural sectors to ensure that every child has the chance to visit, experience and participate in extraordinary work.

The next meeting will take place on Thursday 21st November 2019 at 4.30pm (networking from 4pm) at the Museum of Somerset, Taunton.

We’ll be profiling what’s going on in the Somerset West and Taunton area and exploring the potential for a cultural passport for all children and young people in Somerset, trying to answer the questions: what do we mean by ‘culture’ and how might it work?

If you’re a teacher interested in ensuring your children and young people have access to the arts, heritage, libraries, museums and more then please join us. Email Laura Hylton to express your interest.
